Kiev protested the intention of Poland to place in the passport picture of the chapel in Lviv

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine handed to the Polish Ambassador Jan Pieklo note of protest in connection with Warsaw’s intention to place on the pages of the new Polish passport picture of the chapel rotunda in Ukrainian Lviv, placed on the territory of the Polish war graves.

“Expressed strong protest about the intentions of the Ministry of internal Affairs and administration of Poland,” reads the statement of Ukrainian foreign Ministry.

The Ministry said that Kyiv is considering such an intention Warsaw as an “unfriendly step” that can negatively affect bilateral relations.
