Italy opened the monument to the deceased at Palmyra commandos Prokhorenko


Italian vagli sotto opened a monument to the officer of the Russian spetsnaz, Alexander Prokhorenko, who died in 2016 in Syria.

Marble two-meter sculpture depicts a soldier in combat gear, leaning on a boulder. According to the authors of the monument, Prokhorenko sealed for a few moments before the airstrike, the Russian aerospace forces, which he brought over, being surrounded by terrorists in the vicinity of Palmyra.
