The Ukrainian foreign Ministry sent a note of protest because of the visit of Medvedev to Crimea

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Friday, August 4, has sent the Russian foreign Ministry protest note in connection with the visit of Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev in the “annexed” Crimea.

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine expresses its decisive protest in connection with another uncoordinated with Ukraine visit of the Russian delegation headed by the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev in the occupied by Russia territory of Ukraine – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on August 4, 2017”, — stated in the message of the diplomatic corps of the Square.

The Ukrainian foreign Ministry also called the visit of senior Russian officials in Crimea and Sevastopol as “a flagrant violation of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, cynical and defiant disregard of the Russian party of the generally recognized norms of international law”.
