The chief Prosecutor’s office of Georgia appealed to Poland for Saakashvili


The chief Prosecutor’s office of Georgia on Friday, August 4, addressed to the Polish justice in connection with the appearance in Poland deprived of Ukrainian citizenship to ex-Governor of the Odessa region, the odious former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili that Georgia faces a prison sentence from seven to 11 years, informs “Sight”. This was stated by the representative of the main Supervisory Department of the Georgian Giorgi Grdzelishvili.

According to him, in connection with messages of mass media about the arrival of Saakashvili from the United States to Poland, the main Prosecutor’s office of Georgia appealed to the Polish colleagues already running “all the procedures established by law”.

However, he did not specify whether the request for arrest and extradition of Saakashvili.
