Oliver stone likened the sanctions against Russia from the eve of the First world

The American Oscar-winning Director Oliver stone, who directed the acclaimed film about the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has compared the current tensions with the United States sanctions against Russia from the eve of the First world war.

“Last week Congress passed the anti-Russian sanctions, 419 vs 3. The Senate did not lag behind in this pace, 98 to 2. Stupid vote, which increases the tension even more in the spirit of August 1914 (when the First world war),” wrote stone in his microblog on Twitter.

In addition, the Director noted that the American congressmen and senators do not consider the fact that US intelligence can fool them for the sake of continuing “fabricated” deal with Russia. “I don’t think with your head,” concluded stone.
