Not war: the Department of state to calculate the consequences of the new anti-Russian sanctions

A senior representative of the US State Department, commenting on the adoption of a new law to toughen sanctions against Russia, Iran and the DPRK, said that the document signed by President trump should not be regarded as the beginning of a trade war with Russia.

“I’m familiar with the statement by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, but I want to emphasize that adopted by Congress and approved by the President of the regulatory legal act in the legal sense, of course, is not a Declaration of trade war of Russia… despite the fact that some people from certain governments say such exaggerated things,” – said the representative of the state Department.
