Moscow reserves right to retaliatory sanctions against the EU

The Russian foreign Ministry in a statement expressed its “deep regret” in connection with the decision of Brussels on the inclusion in the sanctions list of a number of Russian officials and companies for the supply in Crimea gas turbines.

MIL insists that this step was taken on the initiative of Berlin and is regarded in Moscow as an “unfriendly and unfounded.”

Moscow says that it reserves the right to retaliate, but also imposes on the EU and Berlin liability for any economic costs “Siemens” and other German and European companies.

At the same time, the foreign Ministry stressed that despite the situation, confirmed the interest in maintaining development of cooperation with Germany and the EU.

“We remain faithful to all previously adopted commitments. Aimed joint efforts to overcome the negative effects of the sanctions Toolkit” – said in a statement.
