The U.S. state Department asked the Americans to leave Korea until September

The US state Department demanded that their fellow citizens before September 1 of the current year to leave the territory of the DPRK in connection with the previously announced imposition of ban on visits to this country.

An exception is made for journalists and humanitarian workers, as well as in cases involving “national security interests” of the United States.
