Putin explained, when the business can be sent to jail

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin at the meeting dedicated to the implementation of major projects in the far East, called for softening preventive measure for people who are under investigation entrepreneurs. In his opinion, businessmen it is impossible to send into custody, if they have not conducted an active investigation.

The head of state noted that it is often a consequence, asking the court to extend the period of the restraint, does not present convincing evidence that the anti-business investigations are conducted, reports “Interfax”.

“I think it is absolutely justified, if the lack of action on the conduct of the investigation the citizens under arrest, mean entrepreneurs will be from custody released,” – said Putin.

The President added that this issue should be dealt by the Prosecutor General and the Supreme court and, if necessary, need to amend legislation.

The President also announced that the number of unscheduled inspections of entrepreneurs in Russia should be reduced to 30% of the target. According to him, the administrative burden of the security forces in business today is often completely redundant.
