Medvedev put trump on the cross: “the Hope to improve relations end”

In relations between the US and Russia are entering a new period in which the sanctions regime will persist for decades regardless of the identity of the President and the Congress. This opinion was expressed by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, commenting on the signing by the President of the United States Donald trump’s new anti-Russian sanctions. Of the incident, Medvedev made several key findings. The first is that “the hopes of improving our relations with the new American administration – in the end.” Speaking of friend, the Russian Prime Minister claims that the United States declared Russia “a full-fledged trade war.

In the current difficult conditions of closed financial markets and the fear of investors to invest in Russia due to sanctions, Moscow will continue to develop the economy and social sphere, to engage in import substitution, continued Medvedev.

“We learned how to do it in recent years. We’ll manage,” he concludes.

Medvedev also gave an assessment of domestic politics in the United States. From his point of view, the Administration of U.S. President Donald trump lost the American establishment being forced to approve passed through Congress a law on the extension of anti-Russian sanctions. The Prime Minister foresees new “hits” against trump, which ultimately aim at his removal from power

Earlier in a similar vein, but much shorter, commented on the situation former Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Alexey Kudrin. In his opinion, trump didn’t want to sign the law, but was forced to do it. He agreed with Medvedev that the repeal of the law will be difficult.

The trump after the bill immediately criticized it. According to trump, the law limits the exclusive constitutional right of the President and is unsuccessful.
