At the same time the head of state stressed that the White house will try to make certain that the regular restrictive measures against Russia does not undermine efforts to rebuild ties with the Kremlin.
“Relations between Russia and the U.S. are historically low point since the end of cold war. Unfortunately, they can deteriorate… the Question of the events of the last week is that they deteriorate or we can maintain some level of stability,… to find common interests and ways to resolve differences… While our countries there is one area of common interests is terrorism. We chose the theatre in Syria to check its ability to work together. ISIS (a terrorist organization banned in Russia – approx. ed.) is a threat for our countries. And we are committed to defeat of ISIL and other terrorist organizations,” said Tillerson.
