The Russian Navy will receive 30 new ships this year

In the Navy of the Russian Federation in 2017 will come to 30 new ships, announced in St. Petersburg, President Vladimir Putin taking the salute on the occasion of Navy Day.

“We will strictly follow and other development plans of the Navy to increase the share of modern weapons and to improve the quality of warships,” he assured the commander in chief.

According to him, last year the Navy received 24 ships, two attack submarines and a support vessel. Putin also stressed that the state will provide the necessary support to soldiers and their families.
