The ex-President of Georgia and former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili drew attention to the published by the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Areivim document on the basis of which he was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship. Saakashvili claims that his signature on the application for citizenship of Ukraine and he forged the document is not filled.
“I’m in shock!”, – wrote Saakashvili in Facebook, attaching to post the document. “I demand to immediately conduct a graphical examination, here we are dealing with a criminal offence!” he added. According to Saakashvili, it is now clear how high in the echelons of the Ukrainian government “has been infiltrated by crooks.”
Later Saakashvili showed looks like his real signature and said that is usually signed by the Cyrillic alphabet.
Signed on 28 may 2015 application form for obtaining Ukrainian citizenship on public display on Thursday put the head of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE Vladimir Aryans. He noticed that on political grounds of loss of nationality Saakashvili is debatable, but legal beyond doubt.
“If then, in 2015, he wrote in the questionnaire honestly and the nationality would have received, and now the reason for losses is not given. Key word – honestly” – says the Aryans.
As previously reported, Saakashvili stripped of citizenship because he lied, allegedly not putting in the questionnaire that is under investigation in Georgia.
The Aryans did not reply and then, when Saakashvili pointed to forgery. The Deputy, according to him, learned in the Migration service of Ukraine, which form to the office prepared and filed by the officer and not the politician.
“Even retroactively designed. And if the signature is not Saakashvili, that there is a new, even more pressing question – the citizenship was granted on the basis of false documents?” he continued.
