Scientists: climate change will benefit the Siberian

A group of researchers from Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, came to the conclusion that the 80-th years of this century global warming will make Siberia a more attractive place to live. Global warming will make the climate in this area is more mild and moderate, experts say.

The researchers analyzed the current climate of Central Siberia and the changes in it are seen, using ten global climate models created during another project. As a result, the experts came to the conclusion that after 60 something years, average temperatures in the region will rise to 9.1 degrees in the winter and 5.2 degrees in the summer and the annual precipitation will increase by 60-140 mm. All this, according to experts, will lead to the fact that the crop in Central Siberia will be twice more effective.

The results obtained by Russian scientists announced during a joint conference of Japanese and American geophysical unions

Recently, another group of experts came to the conclusion that global warming, paradoxically, may improve conditions in one of the hottest and driest regions of the Earth — on the territory of the Sahara desert. According to scientists, in the new climate conditions will change the character of the movement of the monsoons off the coast of Africa, in the Sahel, representing the southern margin of the desert, will get a much greater amount of moisture. And last year some researchers have suggested that global warming may win Ethiopia as Nile due to climate change may be more affluent

However, the vast majority of climate scientists agree that the planet as a whole from global warming is very much affected, and in order to avoid this, you must take the maximum number of measures proposed by environmentalists in the first place, provided for by the Paris agreement on climate change, adopted in 2015. By the way, on 1 June, US President, Donald trump declared that America comes out of this agreement, than provoked the criticism of many scientists.
