Trump Maduro has threatened “decisive measures” in the case of the convocation of the constituent Assembly

The President of the United States Donald trump has threatened his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro “decisive economic action”, if the latter shall convene a constituent meeting on 30 July.

“Yesterday, the Venezuelan people again made it clear that they stand for democracy, freedom and the rule of law. However, their strong and bold actions continue to be ignored bad leader who wants to be a dictator,” — said the head of the White house.

Himself Nicolas Maduro had previously stated that he wants to establish good relations with U.S. President Donald trump. The President of Venezuela said after the signing of a Memorandum of understanding with the American oil company Horizontal Well Drillers.

“Tell the President to Donald Trump that we are open to new business, I want to have a good relationship with him, despite our differences,” said Maduro.
