The Armenian President is not willing to make concessions in the Karabakh issue settlement

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is not willing to make concessions in the Karabakh issue settlement. He stated this during an extensive interview to “Armenia” TV channel. While Sargsyan noted that Armenia has always expressed the need for compromises, not concessions in this matter. The Armenian leader stressed that it is a different concept.

“Over the past 20 years, we never spoke about concessions. We have always said and continue to emphasize on compromise solution to the problem. It is a different concept. I’m sure if the question is not settled for another 20 years, the Armenian side will never have a desire to make concessions to mitigate the situation, as this may not lead to a decision”, — said the President of Armenia.
