Human rights organization has filed a lawsuit against trump


The human rights organization American civil liberties Union (ACLU) filed a lawsuit against the President of the United States Donald trump, Vice-President Mike Pence and the Commission for fair elections, established by the President, due to the lack of transparency in the work of the Commission and violation of the law, said in a statement on the organization’s website.

Petition the ACLU concerns the Commission on fair elections which was established by the trump for the purpose of studying the process of voting in the presidential election. Trump after the election of a declared mass falsifications on elections, which he won, and promised to investigate but did not lead evidence in support of his words. In particular, trump said that for his rival, Hillary Clinton voted millions of illegal immigrants, and “dead souls”.

“Defendants violated the act, the Federal Advisory Committee (FACA) in two respects”, — said in a statement. “The Commission of the Pence and (Deputy head of the Commission Chris) Kobach already held its first meeting without public notice, without making this meeting open to people and without timely notice to the Federal register,” according to the lawsuit.

According to the second paragraph, the ACLU alleged violations, the Commission was founded in order to create the appearance of legality trump statements that he has scored the greater number of votes in the presidential election in 2016.

ACLU requires the Commission of a violation of the provisions of FACA and full compliance in the future.
