Russian President Vladimir Putin will fly to Germany for the G20 summit on Thursday evening, however, before he can hold a meeting of the security Council. This was stated by his press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“Perhaps today the President will hold an operational meeting with permanent members of the security Council, on the eve of tomorrow evening’s departure to Hamburg to participate in the summit of the big twenty”, – said Peskov.
The Kremlin noted that we are talking about a separate meeting on the sidelines of the summit, not a brief communication “on the ground”.
Also Peskov said that Putin is unlikely to convey to trump Moscow’s position on the issue of the conflict in the East of Ukraine, since the meeting is limited in time, reports “Interfax”.
