The President of Transnistria was involved in five criminal cases


as the press service of the Parliament, citing a statement by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Shcherba, former President of the unrecognized PMR Yevgeny Shevchuk became involved in five criminal cases.

“That’s when Shevchuk was a system that worked for corrupt withdrawal of funds from the budget of the country for the personal enrichment of the ruling elite… In the moment reviewed five submissions of the Prosecutor, which essentially boils down to the fact that in the period from 2012 to 2016 in the Republic Shevchuk, performing the powers of the President of the PMR, went beyond official duties”, – stated in the message.
