State Department: North Korea has established the supply to Russia of the labour of slaves

U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson announced that North Korea has established labor camps on the territory of several States, primarily in Russia and China. Moreover, workers are allegedly slaves.

The state Department issued a report which stated that the DPRK and Russia recently signed an agreement on expanding cooperation. In the framework of agreements on the territory of the Russian Federation functioned as labor camps, where North Korean workers were subjected to forced labor.

According to the document, Pyongyang annually sends almost 20 thousand of its citizens to work in different industries, and about 30 thousand North Koreans employed in Russia officially, forced to work.

Washington added that Russia is included in the list of countries that fails to meet the minimum requirements to counter the slave trade.

Note that in November last year at the construction site of the stadium “Zenit arena” in St. Peterburge was found the body of a citizen of the DPRK. It was later revealed that the man worked in a construction company, OOO “Te Som”.
