Foreign Ministry: EU sanctions could not change the foreign policy of Russia

The Director of the Department of European cooperation Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia Andrey Kelin Wednesday, June 28, responded to the extension by the European Union for six months restrictive measures against Russia. According to the Russian diplomat, the anti-Russian sanctions have not achieved their goals.

“The sanctions have not achieved the goals for which they were conceived: not changed Russia’s foreign policy and had no impact on the situation around the Ukrainian conflict”, — said Kelin.
