Pushkov: NATO hypocrite, accusing Russia of “growing power”

Member of the Federation Council Alexei Pushkov said that the representatives of NATO hypocrite, speaking about alarm due to the growing power of the Russian army. The corresponding statement the Senator made in his Twitter.

“NATO, which surpasses Russia in military budget and armaments, Express concern over the growing power of Russia. It’s pure hypocrisy,” wrote Pushkov in his Twitter.

Earlier, the Chairman of the NATO military Committee Petr Pavel said that Russia is trying to build up its military power “on virtually every level.”

A senior representative of the Alliance said that we are talking about conventional weapons and nuclear arsenals.

Paul added that the West has no doubt that under the teachings Russia demonstrates its ability to deploy troops far beyond its borders.

In this regard, said the representative of NATO, the Alliance will make every effort to prevent a repeat of the situation in Crimea and the Donbass.
