The Ukrainian military has offered to sink the black sea fleet through the Turkish decommissioned submarines

The Deputy head of the Union of officers of Ukraine Yevhen Lupakov shared another recipe, the destruction of the Russian fleet in the Black sea. According to the former commander, in this difficult matter Kiev can help Turkish submarines, which Ankara is ready to put on the scrap. However Lupakov sure that decommissioned submarines could still serve Ukraine.

The captain of the first rank of naval forces of Ukraine, retired Eugene Lupakov shared his thoughts during a meeting of the special Committee, entitled “NATO and Ukraine’s national security: past, present and future”. The video of his speech “Politnavigator” published on its YouTube channel.

In particular, Lupakov expressed the view that the Ukrainian army could for a week to flood the entire Russian black sea fleet, whether she has at least five submarines. “Today, in the sea there is no force worse than submarines. For the week that the Black sea can be up and down to pass to melt down all that is Russian,” – said the former commander.

In his opinion, the government should turn to Turkey with a request to transfer to Ukraine decommissioned submarines of project 208. Despite the fact that some courts more than 60 years, they are in excellent condition, says Lupakov. “Let’s not spend money in vain, and that will give us these submarines, which they cut for scrap,” he said.

Recall that in late April Lupakov proposed to destroy “in the dust this old thing, that the black sea fleet, the output from the base” with the five submarines, which, as you know, Kiev has not.

Then the Deputy of the state Duma from the Crimean region Ruslan Balbec advised the Kiev authorities not to joke with the Russian military, noting that the nomination of the Ukrainian submarines to the shores of the Crimea would become for them “a hike in one way.”
