Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with members of the Public chamber of the new convocation expressed his attitude to political protests, at the same time comparing the system to counter the civil protests in Russia and in the West.
The head of state reiterated voiced during the “Straight line” idea that protests with the aim of self-promotion by means of speculating on the problems that “always enough” is not the best way of political activity.
If the purpose of protests is to improve the situation and really “open” some problem, then the officials its no reason to be afraid, Putin said. “Because the country is big. It is from these offices there is not yet seen what happens”, – quotes the President “Interfax”.
In Russia, opposition to the civil protests is not what the West have noticed with Putin. In his opinion, in Russia “all the more room and easier”, but in the Western system built – “there is not to be messed with really.“
