Next week the Verkhovna Rada will be filed with the bill on completion of the ATO and the beginning of a new stage of the use of Armed forces of Ukraine. This was announced by first Deputy Chairman of the parliamentary faction of “popular front” Andrew Teteruk in the comment to the channel “112 Ukraine”.
“It is expected that next week the Verkhovna Rada will adopt a bill which will give the opportunity to complete the stage the ATO and start the new stage of the use of our Armed forces. I can’t disclose the details, let’s wait for a week when it is filed. Then we will comment on the text finally approved,” – said Teteruk, commander of the last battalion “Peacemaker” of the Main Department of MIA of Ukraine in Kiev region.
On the question of who specifically worked on the text, a former member of the ATO responded, saying that there is “a group of authors who are now refining a draft of the law.“
“ATO is controlled by our anti-terrorist center, in accordance with the provisions of the law on combating terrorism. and chaired by the representative of the SBU. We are now faced with completely different challenges and threats that are not addressed in the format of the ATO. In this context, it will also extend the use of our Armed forces. Operational headquarters will include all of our military units, also Central here will be our integrated Military-civilian administration to the area of the military conflict, all the action was clear and was carried out in a sequential variant,” – said Teteruk.
According to him, now the anti-terrorist operation has completed main all the functions: stabilized the situation in large parts of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, has allowed to conduct the elections in Ukraine. With the help of anti-terrorist operation managed to recover some of the territories.
“It would be logical to move on to finding solutions to the problem of hybrid aggression – said the MP. – We have to find modern answers to how to return to our site, how to interact”.
