In Kiev metro station refused to dismantle the St. George’s ribbon


In the Kyiv subway has refused to dismantle the St. George’s ribbon from the station “Heroes of Dnepr”, according to Life.

As stated on Thursday, June 15, the press Secretary of the Kiev metro Natalia Makogon, the company saw no need to dismantle, except that if such decision will not make the deputies of Kyiv city Council.

“If the city Council decides, of course, we are physically going to work. But we have as a company to make such decisions is not competent,” — said the speaker of the Ukrainian underground.

With ceverha, June 15, in Ukraine came into force a law banning St. George’s ribbons, signed by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The document stipulates that for public use, demonstration, possession or promotion of the ribbons subject to administrative punishment.
