Peskov confirmed that with members of the “straight line” the Kremlin meets in advance

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the representatives of the Kremlin, in fact, meet in advance with the future participants of the “Direct line with Vladimir Putin”, but to call such a meeting a “rehearsal” for “absurd”.

Earlier, RBC said that future participants “the Direct line” which will be held June 15 in advance and brought to the boarding house “Petrovo-Dalnee”, where asked in advance to voice their questions and asked not to consume alcohol on the eve of the air to avoid a hangover.

Peskov called this dialogue a “normal logistic organizational aspects” and not a “rehearsal”. According to him, “it is not instruction, this is an informational meeting. People need to know where they came from, how will the transfer”.

Thus a press-the Secretary added that among the issues to a “Straight line” most of the issues are the responsibility of local authorities, but “people, unfortunately, say that to the President to reach out to them easier than to the leadership of their own regions. Such messages read quite a lot of pain”.

All, according to Peskov, the “Straight line” to date, it’s about 1.6 million applications, most of which is devoted to the problems in the social sector — from healthcare to housing.
