PAL explained that initially was not going to participate in anti-corruption rally, and was just walking home along the Tverskaya street. Afterwards he decided to stay, to see what was happening, but after 15 minutes he was detained by police and put in a paddy wagon. The star of the film says that the guards “grabbed everyone”, while none of the protesters are no slogans chanted.
“But me and everyone I was arrested, attributed that supposedly we shouted slogans, one of which was “To bear the cap off.” I think it’s some kind of old Church Slavonic slogan or the slogan of the rally in tsarist Russia. I have the feeling that it was thought up by law enforcement agencies”, – told a PAL.
The actor explained that he supports people who are trying to enter a dialogue with the government. However, he is not a supporter of the opposition, in particular, the head of the Fund of struggle against corruption Alexei Navalny. “I don’t understand why Alexei Navalny brought the meeting to a General holiday the Day of Russia, which took place in Tver,” – expressed his bewilderment actor (protest action was agreed on Sakharov Avenue – ed.).
That PAL was detained during the opposition rally, has learned from Facebook of the actor. From the police station he was released close to midnight. Against the actor was drawn up under article 20.2 of the administrative code “violation of the established procedure of organizing or holding a rally,” which carries penalties ranging from 10 to 20 thousand rubles.
