The speaker of the lower house of the Parliament noted that it is also understand “our enemies” who aim “to dismember Russia and to deprive it of sovereignty”.

Vladimir Putin has not yet announced his decision to stand for election 2018. As you know, the vote will take place on 18 March, the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea to Russia. In accordance with the Constitution the head of state is elected by direct universal secret ballot for a term of six years.

We will remind that on April 20 the head of the organization of veterans of war in Afghanistan Andrey Chepurnoy on the meeting of the organizing Committee “Victory” in the Kremlin told Putin that his place is supposedly claimed by the speaker of the state Duma. Chepurna said that the Federation Council member Frants Klintsevich “indicates Volodin as the successor to the President.” He Klintsevich later called these words as a provocation.
