About 712 million people, approximately ten percent of people in the world suffer from obesity, and all the excess weight is observed at 2.2 billion people, i.e. almost every third inhabitant of the Earth. To such conclusion experts from a number of American research organizations.
Summarizing the information contained in 1,800 different databases, the researchers came to the conclusion that people with a body mass index above 25 (corresponding to overweight) and above 30 (obesity) in the world becomes more and more.
