Groysman: the gas field in Ukraine is to drill a Croatian company

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on Monday, June 12, said that the Square in conjunction with Croatia agreed to conduct drilling on the gas field in Poltava region.

“Agreed between “Subsidiary” and the Croatian company Crosco Integrated Drilling & Well Services Ltd for execution of works on drilling in the Poltava region”, — Groysman wrote on his page on the social network Facebook.

As noted by Ukrainian Prime Minister, the transaction amounted to 786 million euros, which according to him is 20% less expected value.

Previously adviser to the head of Ministry of Ukraine Maksym Beliavsky has said that Ukraine can receive gas directly from Norway in five years – 2022.

Earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Russian gas supplies to Ukraine was “an element of a hybrid war.” According to him, blocking the gas valve Russia wants to put Ukraine on the knees.
