- The Supreme court dismissed the charges against the President of Brazil Michel Temer
Four judges ‘ votes to three, the Supreme electoral court of Brazil dismissed the charges against the President Michel Temer and did not deprive him of his mandate.
He was accused of illegal financing of the presidential campaign of 2014, when the President was elected Dilma Rousseff. Temer then applied for the post of Vice-President.
In the case of adoption by a court of another solution, the election results could be declared invalid, and the Temer – deprived of his post.
