The countries of the “Normandy format” agreed to continue cooperation in Ukraine without the United States

The Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that the state “channel format” – Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France — agreed to continue cooperation on the settlement of the armed conflict in the East of Ukraine in the framework of the Quartet without the participation of the United States.

“The participants in this format to change, so to speak, on French meadow (the election of the President of France Emmanuel Makron), agreed that cooperation in the framework of the “Quartet” will continue,” — said Ushakov, answering the question whether there are plans to expand the “channel format” at the expense of inclusion in it.

The assistant to the Russian President noted that the date of the telephone conversation leaders “channel four” is not yet defined.
