Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with the American Director Oliver stone said that the first contact of Moscow and a former employee of the national security Agency (NSA) USA Edward Snowden happened before his arrival in Moscow.
According to Putin, Snowden was granted asylum, as we were told that this is a man who wanted to fight human rights violations.
Earlier it became known that in the course of communication with stone, Putin said that he does not consider Snowden a traitor. However, the head of state stressed that it is not in accordance with the methods of the defector: Putin said that if Snowden did not suit the methods of the NSA, he’d just resign from the organization.
