The President of Lithuania considered the very existence of Russia and Belarus the main threat

The President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite said that the existence of Russia and Belarus is the main threat to the Baltic republics and Poland. Such a conclusion she made in an interview shortly before his state visit to Estonia.

Grybauskaite recalled that Poland and the Baltic States is the Eastern frontier of NATO, reports three Lebanese source.

“The proximity of Russia and Belarus — the threat of him”, – said Grybauskaite. According to her, the threat is the ongoing “militarization” of the Kaliningrad region, as well as the use of Belarus as a testing ground for “various experiments and aggressive games.”

Under them Grybauskaite suggested a joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises “West-2017” to be held this fall. The President of Lithuania said earlier that these exercises are supposedly demonstrate the preparation of a war with the West.

In turn, the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the attack of Vilnius, called the speculation “a manifestation imposed on them in the West of Russophobia.”
