The ambassadors of the countries-EU members agreed on the extension of sanctions against Crimea

A source in the Board reported on the agreement by ambassadors of the countries-EU members, the extension of restrictive measures against the Crimea. According to TASS sanctions in the framework of the strategy of non-recognition of Crimea has been extended for one year.

However, the decision still needs approval of the EU Council, after which it will be announced officially. It is expected the meeting of foreign Ministers of the EU countries in Luxembourg on 19 June.

The sanctions prohibit the import into the EU of goods from the Crimea and to carry out in the Crimea investments from Europe. Also provides for other measures.
