Lavrov: Montenegro will not make NATO stronger

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov commented on the acceptance of Montenegro into NATO.

“It’s pure geopolitical project, it does not strengthen the security of NATO, obviously. He leads, perhaps, to additional expenditures of NATO countries”, – said Lavrov during a press conference with his Slovak counterpart Miroslav Barkley.

According to the head of the foreign Ministry, the security of Montenegro is also not strengthened as this country anyway, no one was threatened, according to RT.
