Lavrov called Russophobia fence Lithuania on the border with Russia

The Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called Russophobic actions of the authorities of Lithuania, announced the construction of a fence with a length of about 45 kilometers of the border with the Kaliningrad oblast.

“It is gratifying that, despite Russophobic actions of the leadership of these countries, local authorities, neighbouring the Kaliningrad oblast, see the direct interest of its residents to continue to communicate and not to build walls, as the Lithuanians were going to do or not to terminate the agreement on Small border message, as did the Polish government,” – said Lavrov.

According to the plan of the Lithuanian authorities, the construction of protective structures with a height of about two meters should be completed by the end of the year. The project cost is estimated at EUR 1.3 million.
