Putin told how 17 years in power has affected his personality

Russian President Vladimir Putin during an interview with a leading TV channel NBC Megyn Kelly talked about how it affected him for the last 17 years of being in power.

The guest told the head of state that almost a week of being in Russia almost all of its interlocutors pointed out that Putin returned to the country greatness.

“You are in charge of this country for 17 years. Tell me, is it somehow affected You personally?”, – Putin asked Kelly.

In turn, Putin expressed hope that these years had no effect. According to him, today he feels “a direct living connection with the land, with history, with the country.”

Putin added that the day before he visited with the Prime Minister of India Piskaryovskoye memorial cemetery where buried victims of the siege of Leningrad. The President reminded that in one of these graves lies his elder brother, whom he never saw.

“And I’ll never forget about it, as well as in what condition our country was in the early 90-ies,” – said the head of state.

Putin said the U.S. on charges of meddling in elections: “it is everywhere vmeshivaetes”
