The world Bank and the IMF supported the pension reform in Ukraine


The Ministry of social policy of Ukraine on Sunday, June 4, announced that the international monetary Fund (IMF) and the world Bank expressed its support to the bill to reform the pension system, developed by the Ministry on behalf of the head of the government Volodymyr Groysman.

As reported on the Internet portal of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers, a point in the negotiation process put the Ukrainian Prime Minister Groysman, who personally conducted the negotiations with head of the IMF mission Ron van Roden.

“The result of the negotiations was the adoption of a balanced, comprehensive document, based on best global experiences and giving answers to those challenges and problems that are acute today before the Ukrainian state and society”, — stated in the message.
