Putin lamented the “double bureaucracy” in the United States

In an interview with French newspaper Le Figaro, the Russian leader noted that the election plans of many American presidents are divided on the “bureaucratic wall”.

“IN THE UNITED STATES

presidents come and go, but policy is not changed… Because it is very strong power of bureaucracy, and change is difficult. For Example, Barack Obama. Advanced person, a man of liberal views, before the election promised to close Guantanamo. Closed? No. Why? Did not want to? Really wanted, sincerely wanted, I’m sure. Just didn’t work out. Not so easy… now imagine what it would have done France or Russia. Guts would be eaten. But in the United States is perhaps still continues. This is the question of democracy”, – said Vladimir Putin.
