Foreign Ministry: Russia expels five Moldovan diplomats, declaring persona non grata

Counselor of the Embassy of Moldova in Russia was summoned to the Russian foreign Ministry and handed him a note in which reported Moscow’s decision to declare five Moldovan diplomats persona non grata. They were ordered to leave the territory of the Russian Federation in the next three days, the site says the Russian foreign Ministry.

The Russian foreign Ministry stressed that the measures taken in response to the expulsion of five Russian diplomats in Chisinau on 29 may. “The Russian side expressed the hope that Chisinau is aware of the counterproductive to their hostile actions against the Russian Federation”, – said in a statement.
