Putin gave an icon of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Paris

Bishop Nestor of Korsun, who heads the diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church in Western Europe, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin donated to the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Paris, the icon of the Holy Trinity.

According to TASS, the Bishop said that this Cathedral is the heart of the Russian spiritual cultural center in Paris and were pleased to see the President of Russia.

Putin visiting the temple also put a candle at the temple of the icon, and the Episcopal choir sang the troparion to the Holy Trinity.

Bishop Nestor in turn gave Putin written by a Russian emigre in France, the image of the blessed Trinity.
