Prime Minister of Moldova told about the reason for the expulsion of Russian diplomats

Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Philip commented on the decision on the expulsion of five Russian diplomats, which on the eve has accepted the government of the country. He said that the persona non grata they were announced, based on the intelligence information.

Whom it is sent and for what reasons, Philip refused to report, reports RIA Novosti. Moldovan Prime Minister explained that the rules may not disclose such information.

The media linked the incident with the spy scandal in Moldova. As wrote “Kommersant”, one of the persona non grata became the assistant military attache of Russia Alexander Grudin, whose name was mentioned in connection with the case of the former Deputy of Parliament of Moldova Yury Bolbochan.

Bolbochan was arrested in March. He was accused that he gave the employee of the foreign intelligence information to the detriment of Moldova.

Meanwhile, the President of Moldova government decision on the expulsion of Russian diplomats criticized, calling it outrageous.
