Died “the Supreme leader of the national liberation of Panama,” Noriega

“The Supreme leader of the national liberation of Panama” Manuel Noriega died in the night of may 30 at the age of 83 years, having survived shortly before surgery to remove a benign brain tumor. This was stated by the representative of the Panamanian government of Manuel Dominguez.

Noriega was arrested in 1990, when the country was invaded by the United States. After 2 years he was sentenced to 40 years in prison for extortion and drug trafficking, and then another for dozens of years for political killings and money laundering.
