“Levada-Center” has published new data on electoral preferences of Russians, if presidential elections were held next weekend. Despite all the problems the majority of Russians want to see the head of the country except Vladimir Putin. Never even electoral rating of GDP has soared to such numbers. Act against Putin, only 20% of Russians, and the opposition leader Alexei Navalny scored only 2%.
As is clear from the publication on the website of the polling company, for Vladimir Putin spoke 63% of the respondents. If we are to take a percentage only from those who are going to go to vote, the figures are even more impressive – 82%. These data suggest that the electoral rating of Vladimir Putin reached a historical high, as in June 2011 for GDP have voted 30% and 43% of those who were going to vote.
Among the other politicians caught in the top of the ranking, is the head of LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky – 6% and 8% intending to vote, Gennady Zyuganov – 3% and 4%, and Alexei Navalny – 2% and 2%.
The result of the oppositionist Navalny seems very weak, but note that he bypassed, for example, the leader “Fair Russia” Sergey Mironov and the Chairman of the Federal political Committee of the party “Yabloko” Grigory Yavlinsky, in which 1% of the vote.
As for the opponents of Vladimir Putin, their number now totals 20% of respondents. That’s the number of Russians do not want to see GDP at the helm of the country. Thus according to the “Levada-center” in 2012-13, the number of protest electorate amounted to 40-45%, but in the spring of 2014, it fell sharply to 19%.
Also the Russians do not believe that the country until 2018, when and after the presidential election, you may receive a leader who can replace Putin in the main office. In this case, while the President has not declared that he will run for a fourth term.
