Heads of diplomatic and military departments of the United States and Japan will meet in July

The meeting of the foreign and defense Ministers of the US and Japan in the format of “two plus two” will be held in Washington in mid-July. The sides will discuss issues ABOUT the situation around the DPRK.

U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson, the Minister of defence James Mattis and their Japanese counterparts Fumio Kishida and Tomomi Inada will discuss methods of increasing international pressure on Pyongyang, as well as for potential deployment in Japan of the American missile defense systems Aegis Ashore. According to the Agency Kyodo, the corresponding agreement is already underway.
