Carried unanimously: Gennady Zyuganov was reelected Chairman of the Communist party


17th report-election Congress of the Communist party held on Saturday in Moscow. The Congress elected a new Central Committee and control Commission of the party.

Chairman of the Communist party was re-elected Gennady Zyuganov.

May 27 in the Russian capital hosted the 17th report-back election Congress of the party, which was elected a new Central Committee and control Commission. The Chairman of the personnel Committee of the Communist party of the Novels nominated Zyuganov to the post of party Chairman. The Congress delegates unanimously supported the proposal.

“The Plenum unanimously on the proposal of the Chairman of the personnel Committee V. S. Romanov was elected Chairman of the Communist Zyuganov,” — leads RIA Novosti words of the Secretary of the Central Committee Sergey Obukhov.

Gennady Zyuganov leads the Communist party since its establishment in 1993.
