Putin spoke with Erdogan about the “Turkish stream” and the Syrian crisis

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two leaders exchanged congratulations in connection with the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the relations between Russia and Turkey.

During the conversation the sides confirmed their commitment to deepening the strategic partnership, announced in the Kremlin. The President also discussed the implementation of agreements in trade-economic sphere, in the field of energy – in particular, the construction of the gas pipeline “Turkish stream”.

Another topic of conversation was the Syrian crisis and the creation of zones of de-escalation.

Putin and Erdogan agreed to continue regular personal contacts noted in the Kremlin.
