Putin expressed his condolences to President of Sri Lanka because of the human casualties caused by floods

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin sent the head of the Republic of Sri Lanka Maitripala Sirisena condolences for the loss of lives and destruction of property from flooding.

Russia shares the grief of those who lost their loved ones in this disaster”, – quotes the press-service of the Kremlin the text of the message.

About 100 people were killed and almost as many reported missing in Sri Lanka, where heavy rains have called flooding and landslides.
